The Lady Eagles went 2-1 in the Pioneer Conference Tournament at Tri County High School, falling to Lourdes Central Catholic (LCC) in the conference final on Saturday, February 4 resulting in a second place finish in the tournament. Johnson-Brock reached the title game after defeating Pawnee City on Tuesday, January 31 and Lewiston on Thursday, February 2. Johnson-Brock improves to 16-5 after the tournament.

Johnson-Brock won three games in the Pioneer Conference tournament this past week including avenging an earlier loss by defeating Tri County in the conference title game. The Eagles were scoring by Camden and Casen Dalinghaus throughout the tournament.

On a night where the Bulldogs couldn’t buy a three-point shot, the Tigers rode a 16-3 run to open a 13-point lead in the third quarter. Auburn battled back in the fourth quarter, outscoring Falls City 13-2 in the final 9 minutes and 20 seconds of the contest, and had an opportunity to take the lead on the final possession of the game, but couldn’t get the shot to fall.
