Wednesday, April 17, the Auburn Board of Public Works (BPW) approved re-offering an agreement with Brownville village officials which was presented earlier this year.
Sunday afternoon, April 14, five youth entered the 2024 Nemaha County 4-H Shotgun competition at the Otoe County Wildlife Club near Nebraska City.
April 21 through April 27 is National Volunteer Week, and though volunteers don’t provide their services for fame or fortune, each and every one of them is a hero for giving their time for those less able. From those who pick up trash in the parks to the firefighters rescuing people and pets from burning buildings, volunteers make the world a better place out of the goodness of their hearts, and they should all be praised for their deeds.
