Johnson-Brock won three games in the Pioneer Conference tournament this past week including avenging an earlier loss by defeating Tri County in the conference title game. The Eagles were scoring by Camden and Casen Dalinghaus throughout the tournament.
On a night where the Bulldogs couldn’t buy a three-point shot, the Tigers rode a 16-3 run to open a 13-point lead in the third quarter. Auburn battled back in the fourth quarter, outscoring Falls City 13-2 in the final 9 minutes and 20 seconds of the contest, and had an opportunity to take the lead on the final possession of the game, but couldn’t get the shot to fall.

Auburn tallied their seventh straight win Tuesday night against the Tigers in Falls City by a score of 64-22. Since a home loss to Ashland-Greenwood that put the Bulldogs at 5-4 just after the new year, Auburn has now won their last seven games all by doubly digits and by an average margin of 34 points.
The Johnson-Brock Lady Eagles secured two wins over the past week, first in a comeback victory over Lewiston, in which the Lady Eagles trailed by 14 points in the first half, before stunning the Tigers. For the Lady Eagle fans that didn’t like the tension of the high-stress Tuesday game, they could enjoy Friday’s win over Friend, as Johnson- Brock cruised to a large victory after going up by 50 points just seconds into the third quarter. Johnson-Brock improves to 12-3 after the wins.
