After keeping their season alive with a 5-1 victory over Hickman in the area B1 tournament, the FNBJ Seniors ran into #1 seeded Plattsmouth, who was yet to lose in the tournament. The Auburn Seniors would need an extra inning to settle the score, but would ultimately come out with the win.

Legion Seniors Split Games at Springfield Tournament

After nine days without a game, the First National Bank of Johnson Seniors were back in action on Friday, July 14 in a tournament in Springfield, Nebraska. After defeating York and suffering a comeback loss to Springfield, the Seniors keep a .500 record at 12-12.

Auburn Airstream Juniors Place Third in Area Tournament in Ashland as Top Seed; Complete 2023 Season 19-9-1

The Auburn Airstream Juniors concluded their 2023 summer season after placing third in the B2 area tournament hosted by Ashland. The Auburn Juniors entered the tournament as the #1 seed, defeating #8 Nebraska City on July 8 and #5 Falls City on July 9, before suffering their first loss of the tournament to Lincoln Christian on Tuesday, July 11. The Juniors entered the loser’s bracket in the double-elimination tournament and defeated #6 Ashland on the same day. On July 12, the Juniors were knocked out of the season by #2 Hickman. The loss would eliminate the Juniors’ hopes of a state berth, instead cutting their season short with a record of 19-9-1. Lincoln Christian would go on to defeat Hickman for the area title.
