Sophomore Camden Taylor dropped back into pass coverage on the first play of the second half and picked off a Boys Town pass at the Cowboy 25-yard line. Once the linebacker, in his first career start, got his feet under himself, he rode the right sideline all the way to the endzone to complete the pick six. It was the third Auburn interception of the night, the first two came in the first half by way of Payton Boden and Brant Gulizia. All three interceptions led to Bulldog touchdowns, but Taylor was the only one to get the steal and the score in one play. His also crushed the Cowboys’ hopes of coming out of the locker room at halftime and tying the game up at 14 apiece. Instead, the Bulldogs earned some breathing room, going ahead 20-6 early in the second half.
