Diana Lynn Penton, age 64 of Nebraska City died July 22, 2020 at her home. Diana was born July 23, 1955 in Brush, Colorado, the daughter of Harold Eugene and Leta Nadine (Brunker) Douglas. She married Donald Penton on June 12, 1976 in Denver, Colo. Diana formerly lived in Commerce City, Thornton and Denver, Colo., and Auburn, Nebraska before moving to Nebraska City seven years ago.
Marcialee Maxine Daffer, of Auburn, Nebraska, passed away Monday, July 20th at the age of 81.
Sandra Rose Sapp of Hickman passed away at the age of 63 on May 5, 2020 after a courageous cancer battle. Funeral Service and celebration of life will be held at St. James Catholic Church in Cortland on Friday, July 31st at 1 pm. Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home will direct services.
Candace Marie Cotton, 54 of Auburn, Nebraska passed away at UNMC in Omaha on July 8, 2020 after her courageous battle of cancer over the past year. Candace was born in Auburn on March 17, 1966 to Lloyd (Vern) and Shirley (DeFreece) Cotton.
Stephen J. Hudak, 96, passed peacefully of natural causes on July 3, 2020 at St. Anne’s Retirement Community, Fort Wayne, Indiana, with family by his side.
