Freshman Landon Casey and Sophomore Travon Shaw reached base on errors, while Juniors Austin Lavigne and Braden Gerdes put a ball in play to land on first and spur the two-out rally. Gerdes worked to get ahead in the count, then drove in three runs with a single and started the scoring run.
