Johnson-Brock Track and Field Coaches Excited for Team’s Future After First Outdoor Meet at Johnson County Central

Johnson-Brock Track and Field battled with athletes from 11 other area schools at the Thunderbird Invite on Monday, April 4 at Johnson County Central High School in Tecumseh. Both the Eagles and Lady Eagles had good showings including multiple personal records. The Lady Eagles finished 9th, while the Eagle boys ended the day in 5th place.

Nebraska City Baseball Team Is Spring Home for Eight Johnson-Brock Sluggers

Eight Johnson-Brock students will play baseball for the Nebraska City baseball team for the spring of 2022. Camden Dalinghaus, Casen Dalinghaus, Andrew Hodges, and Austin Meyer will contribute to the junior varsity and reserve teams, while coach Kyle Ferguson hopes that seniors Kade Davis and Ryan Bohling and sophomores Zac Hawley and Sloan Pelican will add to the efforts of the varsity squad. Last season, Pelican started for the Pioneers behind the plate at the catcher position.

Bulldogs Pick Up First Win Against Raymond Central, Fall to Nebraska City, Plattsmouth, and Platte Valley

The Bulldogs of Auburn and the Pioneers of Nebraska City met at Tushla Field in Auburn on Monday, March 28 for Auburn’s home opener. The Pioneers entered the game with a 1-4 record including a 13-7 victory over Platte Valley. As for the Bulldogs, early losses against Ralston and the class B #1 rated Orangemen put the Bulldogs at an 0-2 deficit on the season.
