Peru State Women’s Basketball Has Two All-Conference Players

The Johnson-Brock Boys Basketball Team qualified for District play despite losing to HTRS in the D1 Subdistrict Tournament. The number one-seed Eagles fell to the No. 4 seed Titans 55-48 on Feb. 22. Two nights later, Lourdes Central Catholic of Nebraska City eliminated HTRS 52-31.
Auburn High School Boys Basketball won their subdistrict games last week and followed with a win over Central City on Monday night to earn their fourth consecutive trip to the NSAA Class C1 State Basketball Championships. The Bulldog guards are currently shooting well and multiple players have emerged as scorers at the post position.
ON FRIDAY, FEB. 18, the Auburn High School Cheerleaders successfully defended their Class C1 Non-Tumbling State Championship. It was the fifth consecutive triumph in that category and sixth overall in the class for the Bulldogs.
