The First National Bank of Johnson (FNBJ) Seniors improved on their record this past weekend going 2-1 on the week including wins over Elkhorn Mt. Michael and Concordia. The Seniors are 7-9 heading into the Southeastern Nebraska Baseball Conference (SENBC) Seniors Tournament in Auburn.
Over the weekend, the 2022 Southeast Nebraska 10u Baseball League gold division tournament took place at the Auburn Recreation Complex. Participants in the division include Auburn-Bures, Auburn-Knipe, Johnson-Moore, Pawnee City, Rock Port and Humboldt. The Auburn-Bures team won the Gold Division tournament.
Auburn Airstream juniors have now won 14 straight games after wins over Louisville/Weeping Water, Elkhorn Mt. Michael, and Springfield. The Juniors hold a 16-3 record on the season.

THE JOHNSON-BROCK 12U softball team defeated Humboldt twice on Wednesday, June 15. The Lady Eagles won the first game by a score of 11-7 and the second by a score of 15-1. The team is 10-1-1 on the season. TOP LEFT, Isabelle Bishop pitched a complete game last Wednesday evening in Humboldt.
