Johnson-Brock Finishes Third at Districts, Qualifies 10 For State

10 Johnson-Brock track and field athletes have qualified for the NSAA Class C State Track and Field Championships at Omaha Burke High School on May 23 and 24 as both the boys and the girls teams finished third at the Class C-1 District Meet at JCC. The top three in team scoring was identical for the boys and girls rankings with Palmyra finishing second and Syracuse taking home both District titles.

Junior Rylie Beethe will make her third appearance at state in her junior season. Beethe finished third in the 300 meter hurdles and won the 100 meter hurdles while contributing to the second place 4x400 meter relay team to be a three time qualifier this season.

Also on the state qualifying relay team are Brooklyn Behrends and Hannah Groth who will make another trip to state as a complete squad in the relay.
