Leslie Burton Dean, son of Marcile Elaine Dean, was born June 26, 1964 in Humboldt, Nebraska. He lived in Humboldt, the Auburn area, and moved to Peru, Nebraska with his grandparents. Les graduated from Auburn High School in 1982.
Kenneth Joseph Hug, one of four children of Joseph A. and Anna M. (Weisbrook) Hug, was born March 11, 1939 in Auburn, Nebraska. He was baptized March 19, 1939 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Auburn, took his first communion June 9, 1940, and was confirmed October 10, 1950. Ken attended school in Auburn, graduating from Auburn High School in 1957. He served in the Nebraska National Guard for four years after high school, leaving the Guard after being injured in an automobile accident.
Cody Nicholas Prosser, one of two sons of Esther (Adams) Prosser and David Fender, was born August 25, 1987, in Aurora, Nebraska. As a young boy, Cody moved with his mother to Nemaha County, Nebraska where he attended school at Johnson-Brock Public Schools and Auburn Public Schools, graduating from Auburn High School in 2005.
Ardis Mary (Kors) King, 92, formerly of Humboldt, Nebraska was born on October 14, 1927, and was raised on the family farm north of Humboldt. Ardis was the only child born to Elmer H. and Rose A. (Friedly) Kors. Ardis attended Franklin Center country school through the eighth grade, and then went to Humboldt High School where she graduated with the class of 1945.
Mildred Elaine Gossman, one of two children of Cecil and Forrest (Oakman) Noa, was born December 12, 1927 in rural Stella, Nebraska. Elaine, as she was known, grew up on a farm near Stella and attended school in Stella, graduating from Stella High School in 1945.
