Auburn is sending the varsity girls team and seven individual runners to the 2022 Class C1 state cross country meet. Runners that place in the top 15 out of their district punch their tickets to the state meet in Kearney.
The Eagles will head into postseason play with a full head of steam after a 71-0 route over Diller-Odell (26) on Friday, October 14 in Johnson.

Johnson-Brock’s Sloan Pelican ran for 97 yards and completed 12 of his 16 passes for 176 yards in the Eagles’ 42-22 win over Falls City Sacred Heart. Pelican recorded two rushing touchdowns and two passing touchdowns as well as a two-point conversion in the victory.
The Auburn football team successfully defended Bulldog Stadium against the Rockets of Syracuse on homecoming night, Friday, October 8. Led by a career-high 237-yard rushing performance from senior running back Tate Hug, the Bulldogs came back from a 7-0 deficit to hand the Rockets their third loss of the season.
