Two Bobcat Baseball Players Were Named Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athletes

The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) released the 2019 Daktronics-NAIA Baseball Scholar-Athletes on Wednesday, May 29. Robert Morris (Ill.) led the way with 16 selections. Indiana Tech, Indiana Wesleyan, Texas College and Antelope Valley (Calif.) all tied for the second largest total with eight each.
Two Peru State Bobcat baseball players were recognized. Seniors Chaz Dunn (Falls City) and Tyler Wheelock (Omaha) earned the 2019 honor. For Dunn, this was his third year as a scholar-athlete while Wheelock earned his second-straight recognition.
