Take Me Out to the Ballpark with City Rec Coach Pitch Play

Players and coaches participating in Auburn City Recreation Coach Pitch ball took the diamond again Tuesday night, June 15. On the Southeast diamond, the Pieters Construction team wearing red took on Andrews Farm in orange. Across the park on the Southwest field Web Farms in blue faced State Farm in black.

Each game consisted of three innings. Innings ended after every player on each team got an at-bat. Batters received pitches from their coaches until they put a ball into play. Boys and girls on the defensive side surrounded the bases and waited for opportunities to field the ball.
