Peru State Men Win Fifth Straight

For what is believed to be the first time in 20 years or more, the Peru State men’s basketball team has started a season with five consecutive wins.
The Bobcats topped another ‘Cat – that being the Wildcats of Baker – 81-74 Tuesday night, Nov. 20, in Baldwin City, Kan.
Peru State improved to 5-0 overall and are now 2-0 in the Heart of America Athletic Conference (Heart). The Wildcats fell to 3-5 on the season and are winless in the conference against three losses.
