Peru State Baseball Splits with Graceland

What was to be a home double header for the Peru State baseball team turned out to be an away pair of games on Saturday. In anticipation of the rain which did hit Peru Saturday afternoon, the Bobcats decided to play their games at Graceland in Lamoni, Iowa, in order to get the contests played.

The teams split the double header with the Yellowjackets taking game one 7-4 and Peru State winning the second 10-2.

With the split, Peru State is now 3-12 overall and 1-1 in the Heart of America Athletic Conference (Heart) North Division. Graceland is now 4-7 on the season and is also 1-1 in the Heart North.

As this was to be a home game for the Bobcats, Graceland was only able to sync a box score for the first game, but some play-by-play was available for the second game.
