Peru State’s May Athletes of the Month

Peru State athletic director Wayne Albury recently announced that softball player Alana Krieser (Lincoln, Neb.) and baseball player Louis Landaeta (Porlamar, Venezuela) were selected as May’s Bobcat Athletes of the Month.

Each player was the highest honoree from their respective teams. Krieser, the junior pitcher, was named to the Heart of America Athletic Conference’s (Heart) honorable mention list and also earned the Heart’s Gold Glove Team award for being the best defensive pitcher.
