Lady Eagles Sweep Kenesaw; Qualify For D-1 State Tournament Nov. 5-7

After a one-year absence, the Johnson-Brock Lady Eagles are returning to the Class D-1 state volleyball tournament.

Saturday, Oct. 31, Johnson-Brock swept Kenesaw, 25-15, 25-19 and 25-22. The match was played at Centennial High School at Utica. The 20-11 Lady Eagles will play 30-0 Pleasanton Thursday, Nov. 5 at 2 p.m. The match takes place on the north court at Pinnacle Bank Arena in Lincoln. The arena will be the site of all state tournament matches except third place.

Johnson-Brock Public School will not be in session Nov. 5 allowing students and staff to follow their team to Lincoln. The Lady Eagles will be at state for the fifth time in the last six seasons.
