Lady Eagles 3-0 After Edging Falls City in OT

The Johnson-Brock Lady Eagles remain perfect after their first three contests.

Tuesday night, Dec. 10 the Lady Eagles defeated the Palmyra Panthers 54-36 at home. Friday night, Dec. 13 Johnson-Brock nipped the Falls City Tigers 47-46 in overtime.

Coach Landonn Mackey noted the Lady Eagles were able to pull away from the Lady Panthers in the second half early in the week. Mackey called the Falls City tilt a backand-forth affair. The Lady Tigers were able to battle back from a 10-point third quarter deficit forcing overtime. Two missed free throws with just more than seven seconds left in the extra period gave Falls City one last shot. However, the coach said it did not fall at the buzzer and Johnson-Brock held on.
