High Expectations As Bulldog Boys Shoot for Three-Peat
The 2020-2021 Auburn High School boys basketball team has reloaded in preparation of defending its two consecutive Class C1 State championships. In addition to claiming the title two years ago with a 24-3 record, last year’s 29-0 Bulldogs were among only three high school boys teams in the state to go undefeated last season on their way to a state title.
Coach Jim Weeks said the Bulldogs return three starters from last year’s team: two-time First Team All-Stater Cam Binder, Second Team All-Stater Dan Frary and Ryan Binder. They give the Bulldogs a solid foundation in their quest to again have an outstanding season.
