FNB of Johnson Seniors Lose 10-2 to Elkhorn Mt. Michael

The First National Bank of Johnson Seniors fell to Elkhorn Mount Michael by a score of 10-2 on Wednesday, July 14 in Elkhorn.

The Auburn team got behind early to Elkhorn Mount Michael, giving up seven runs in the first two innings combined. The FNB of Johnson Seniors couldn’t do the same and found themselves down 7-2 after two innings.

The tides started to turn in the third inning as Caleb Fossenbarger and Nic Knudson both scored runs for the FNB of Johnson Seniors cutting the Elkhorn Mount Michael lead to 7-2.

Unfortunately for Auburn, the runs halted after the third inning while Elkhorn Mount Michael added a few insurance runs in the fourth and fifth innings resulting in a 10-2 victory for Elkhorn.

Hayden Hall took the loss for the FNB of Johnson Seniors. Hall threw 54 pitches, striking out one batter and allowing seven runs. Brad Hall entered the game in the second inning. He struck out two and allowed 2 hits and a run. Stetson Neiman threw the final 16 pitches of the game allowing two hits and two runs.
