First National Bank of Johnson Seniors Win Two of Three in Conference Baseball Tourney

The First National Bank (FNB) of Johnson Senior American Legion baseball team is 13-9 entering the next-to-last week of the regular season. The Seniors went 2-1 in last week’s Southeast Nebraska Baseball Conference tournament.

Wednesday night, June 23, the Seniors pulled out a 7-6 victory in 9 innings over Syracuse. Friday night, June 25, FNB of Johnson held on in a 4-2 triumph over Falls City. Plattsmouth scored in the bottom of the ninth Sunday night, June 27, winning 5-4 over Auburn.
