Eagles Boys Open Season Crushing Sidney, Iowa 79-36

The Johnson-Brock Eagles opened the 2017-2018 season Thursday night, Nov. 30, with a 79-36 rout over the Sidney, Iowa Cowboys. Johnson- Brock led 20-13 after one quarter before outscoring the visitors 30-11 in the second period.
Four Eagles scored in double figures. Ty Hahn led with 21 points; Cole Fossenbarger had 18; Kaden Glynn 12 and Brendon Froisland 10. Rounding out the Johnson-Brock scoring was Ben Bohling and Benjamin Clark with 6 each; Shane Westhart with 4 and Connor Smith with 2. The Eagles shot 18 of 39 from 2-point range, 46 percent; made 12 of 26 treys, 46 percent and were 7 of 14 from the free throw line, 50 percent.
