Bulldogs Third in Lincoln Christian Invitational; Win Final 2020 Home Matches

The Auburn Bulldog volleyball team won three of five matches to conclude the regular season. The Bulldogs were 12-9 entering subdistricts.

At the Lincoln Christian Invitational Saturday, Oct. 17, Auburn placed third. The team opened the day with a 25-16 and 25-23 sweep of the Elmwood-Murdock Knights. The Bulldogs lost 12-25 and 13-25 to the Lincoln Lutheran Warriors before dropping an 11-25 and 14-25 decision to the Bennington Badgers.

Auburn returned home rallying from two sets down to take two five-set matches Monday and Tuesday, Oct. 19 and 20. The Bulldogs took out the Plattsmouth Blue Devils, 24-26, 22-25, 25-19, 25-15 and 15-12 and defeated the Johnson County Central Thunderbirds, 21-25, 17-25, 25-14, 25-14 and 15-9.
