Bulldog Volleyball Third at Louisville Invitational; Win in Five over Palmyra

The Auburn Bulldog volleyball team won three of five matches over five days last week. Auburn was 9-6 entering its Monday night, Sept. 30 triangular at Freeman.

Tuesday night, Sept. 24, the Bulldogs dropped a three-set match at the Humboldt/Table Rock-Steinauer (HTRS) Titans. Scores were: 13-25, 20-25 and 28-30. In their regular season home finale Thursday night, Sept. 26, Auburn outlasted the Palmyra Lady Panthers in five sets. Scores were: 25-23, 16-25, 25-23, 13-25 and 15-6.

In the Louisville Invitational Saturday, Sept. 28, the Bulldogs swept Cedar Bluffs 25-20 and 25-17; lost to Omaha Mercy 25-18, 19-25 and 21-25 then won in 3 sets over Johnson County Central taking third place. Scores were 26-24, 24-26 and 25-23.
