Bulldog Girls 1-1 in ECNC as Third Place Game Postponed
The Auburn Bulldogs girls’ basketball team enters the final week of the regular season with a 16-2 record.
The Bulldogs split two games in the East Central Nebraska Conference tournament. At home Monday night, Feb. 1, Auburn, second seed took down the seventh seed Freeman Falcons, 37-27. Thursday night, Feb. 4, the Bulldogs lost 29-49 to the third seed Weeping Water Indians. The tournament third place game scheduled Saturday afternoon, Feb. 6 with 9-10 Elmwood-Murdock was postponed because of winter weather. Malcolm, undefeated and top seed, defeated Weeping Water 52-38 to claim the tournament title.
