Bulldog Boys Dominate Falls City, Fairbury to Improve Record to 12-1 Entering This Week’s Play

Auburn boys basketball added two more notches in the win column last week with victories over Falls City 66-36 on Tuesday, January 8, and Fairbury 72-36 on Friday, January 11. A third game scheduled against Conestoga on Saturday, January 12 was canceled due to poor weather.

The Bulldogs’ last loss to the Tigers of Falls City came two years ago at Falls City High School 61-38 in their final match-up of the 2016-17 season in a beatdown where the Tigers scored the first 28 points of the contest. Bulldogs won all three of their matchups against the Tigers in the 2017-18 season, including a district semi-final game. On Jan. 8th the Bulldogs returned to the same gym where they suffered the one-sided loss two years earlier, but this time it was all Auburn.
