Auburn Legion Baseball Teams Split Games with Springfield, Plattsmouth

Both Auburn American Legion baseball teams split games this week during meetings with Springield and Plattsmouth. A seven-run fourth inning helped propel the First National Bank of Johnson Seniors defeat Springfield by a score of 11-0 on Tuesday, June 8.
The Auburn Airstream Juniors couldn’t hold off the Springfield Juniors and lost by a score of 10-0, but turned around a defeated the DJ’s Dugout Juniors from the Plattsmouth area by a score of 9-5 the next day.
The Seniors couldn’t keep the hitting going against Plattsmouth and lost Wednesday by a score of 8-2.
