Auburn High Boys Win Falls City Track & Field Invite; Girls Fourth

The Auburn Bulldog boys’ track and field team captured the Falls City Invitational championship Tuesday, April 23 at Jug Brown Stadium. The Bulldog girls placed fourth.

100 meter dash: Baily Darnell, second, 11.45. 110 meter hurdles: Connor Clark, second, 17.41 and Jacob Hulsebus, fourth, 19.23. 1600 meter run: Seth Zimmerman, first, 4:54.89 and Nathan Wright, sixth, 5:31.92. 300 meter hurdles: Clark, first, 43.83; Drew Keller, second, 44.77 and Hulsebus, fifth, 50.19. 3200 meter run: Zimmerman, first, 10:52.74; Hunter Murphy, fourth, 11:33.79 and James Miller, sixth, 12:41.23. 3200 meter relay: Fourth, 10:07.51. Discus: Bret Baltensperger, fourth, 95’2-1/2” and TJ Roybal, fifth, 93’2-1/2”. Shot put: Roybal, second, 42’10”. High jump: Daniel Frary, second, 5’8”. Pole vault: Grant Heywood, first, 11’2” and Eli Unruh, second, 9’6”. Long jump: Tyler Williams, second, 20’2-1/4”. Triple jump: Trace Moody, third, 39’3-1/4”. TEAM SCORES: 1. Auburn 132; 2. Falls City 120; 3. Johnson County Central 96; 4. Horton, Kan. 86; 5. Southern 50.5 and 6. Nebraska City 22.5.
