THE AUBURN Bulldogs boys’ basketball team continues its 2020-2021 journey with a district championship plaque. The 23-0 Bulldogs advanced to the Class C-1 state basketball tournament with a 48-41 triumph over Boone Central at Crete High School. Auburn’s quest for its third consecutive C-1 crown got underway Wednesday afternoon, March 10 at Pinnacle Bank Arena in Lincoln against the Pierce Bluejays. Semifinals will be Friday morning, March 12 culminating in the late Saturday morning, March 13 title contest. More from the district final in Sports.
