American Senior Benefits Juniors End Season in Tourney at Waverly
The American Senior Benefits Juniors American Legion baseball team completed the season 10-11. The team dropped all three games at the season-ending tournament at Waverly
Play opened Friday afternoon, July 24 when Norris edged the Juniors 5-4. Early Saturday evening, Sept. 25, American Senior Benefits Juniors dropped a 1-10 decision to Wahoo before losing 4-21 in 4 innings to Bennington.

American Senior Benefits Juniors tripled Norris 9-3 in the hit column. Norris got on the scoreboard with 2 in the second inning. Auburn answered with a single tally in the bottom of the frame. After Norris went up 3-1 in the third, American Senior Benefits Juniors tied the score in its subsequent at bat. Norris added single runs in the fifth and sixth with Auburn’s final run coming in the sixth.
Hits: Kael Clark, Braden Gerdes and Nic Knudson 2 each; and Brad Hall, Tate Hug and Austin Lavigne. Knudson had a triple, the only extra base hit on the day.
