ON THE DAY OF THE TOUR and Governor’s visit, FAST Global Solutions tested and trialed its first pieces through the new powder coat paint line capable of painting the extremely large parts that its products require. A container dolly is to the left of the picture awaiting its paint trial. City, helping care for her father and two brothers, then working at various jobs including in a glove factory, at a photo printing shop, in a department store, and as an elevator attendant. On January 2, 1960 she was united in marriage to Joseph Bernard Daniels, Jr. Joe was a widower and Marie became a housewife and helped him raise his children while he worked as a special carrier for the United States Postal Service. They made their home in Kansas City until Joe retired, when they moved to Edwards, Missouri on January 1, 1974. Many of Marie’s best memories were of her years spent living in a small home on the Lake of the Ozarks, where Joe fished and golfed and Marie worked with the volunteer fire department and joined the Rebekah’s, where she was eventually elected Noble Grand. She also acted as hostess when the local priest celebrated special Masses in their home for “the Lake People”. Marie was also a championship bowler! Joe passed away in 1998 and Marie moved to Auburn, Nebraska in 2002 with her best friend Barbara Bolen and her little black Pomeranian, Ginger. She lived in her house along Highway 136 until a few months ago, when health issues forced her to move to Good Sam. Marie is preceded in death by her parents Joseph and Mary Elizabeth, her husband Joe, and her two brothers Joseph and John Zeto. She is survived by many stepchildren, nieces and nephews, and will be greatly missed by the many friends she made here in Auburn. Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated by Father Karl Millis Wednesday, November 7, 2018 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Auburn. Kris Sarver was Reader, John Crotty was vocalist, and Barb Billesbach was accompanist. Casket bearers were Al Dalbec, John Collins, Dave Breuer, Jim Flaherty, Bill Moran, and Bill Fulton. Burial was in Holy Cross Cemetery near Auburn. Services were entrusted to Hemmingsen Funeral Home of Auburn.
