KATHIE (TAYLOR) CASH

Kathie Marie Taylor, daughter of Eugene and June (Bippes) Taylor, was born May 26, 1954 at the Auburn Hospital in Auburn, Nebraska. She grew up in Auburn and graduated from Auburn High School in 1972. Kathie was baptized in the Auburn Christian Church.

Kathie was married to J.C. Cash and was blessed with three children: Jason, Kelly, and Justin. The couple later divorced.

After a few years Kathie met the love of her life, Darrell Jeanneret. Although they never married, the couple was together for 30 years.

Kathie worked at Good Samaritan Society-Auburn in the kitchen. She retired from Good Sam after being employed there for 30 years. After retiring she liked to watch TV and read magazines.

After being admitted to Nemaha County Hospital in Auburn Kathie was transferred to Bryan West Medical Center in Lincoln, Nebraska. It was there she passed away in the early morning hours of Saturday, October 17, 2020 at the age of 66 years, 4 months, and 21 days. She was preceded in death by her son Jason, brother Thomas, and grandson Jordan.

Those left to mourn her passing include her parents Eugene and June Taylor of Auburn; Darrell Jeanneret of Auburn; children Kelly and husband Darrin Gunter of Arizona; Justin Cash of Lincoln; Becky Sharpe of Julian; Bonnie Carman of Johnson; grandchildren Jasmine, Caitlin, Jacob, Krissy, Nicole, Logan, and Jada Cash, Aubrey and Garret Carman, and Nathan Allison; great-grandchildren Theo and Amelia; brother and sister-in-law Gene and Kathy Taylor of Auburn; sisters and brother-in-law Penny and Mike Petrone of Cooper City, Florida; Dee Taylor of Auburn; other relatives and friends.

A memorial service, officiated by John Jeanneret, was held Friday, October 23, 2020 at Hemmingsen Funeral Home in Auburn. Special music was played. Burial of ashes will be at a later date.

Services were entrusted to Hemmingsen Funeral Home in Auburn.
