INGE VOLLMAN

1948 - 2024

Inge Vollman age 75 of Lorton died Feb.8, 2024 at Good Samaritan Center in Auburn under the care of The Traditions Health Hospice. Inge was born March 10,1948 in Munich, Germany, the daughter of Oskar and Gertrude (Hildegard) Altschmid. She lived in Germany most of her life until she met the love of her life Everette Vollman. Inge and Everette were married April 10,1968 in Munich, Germany. He was in the military until 1977. They had frequent trips to the United States and Germany. Everette and Inge eventually settled in Lorton in 1985. Inge enjoyed gardening and had a great green thumb. She loved her family, especially her grandchildren and her great grandchildren. Inge is survived by her children, Michele (Tim) Gebers of Johnson, Donald Vollman of Lorton and Melissa Vollman of Lincoln; grandchildren, Michael (Cori) Vollman of Nehawka, Darcy Vollman and fiancé Keith Williams of Auburn, Betina Vollman of Donaldsonville, LA, Natosha Davis and fiancé Noah Young of Mead, Zackary Scott of Lincoln, Vanessa Hillman of Lincoln and Jonathon Hillman of Dunbar; great grandchildren, Taylor Carpenter, Garrett Dewolfe, Levi Vollman, Conner Redlinger, Khalani Young, Sam Vollman, Mikey Vollman and Andrew Vollman; nieces, Ursula Altschmid of Germany, Monika Sauter of Germany; nephew, Jurgen Eidenschink of Germany; great nieces, Stefanie and Sara Eidenschink of Germany; great nephew, Frank Eidenschink of Germany; numerous nieces and nephews and family in the United States. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Rudi Altschmid and sister, Helga Eidenschink.

Funeral services will be 3:00 P.M. Tuesday, February 13, 2024 at Marshall Funeral Chapel in Nebraska City. A private family burial will take place at a later date.

Visitations will take place one hour prior to the service.
