ANDREW LYLE HARRIS

Andrew Lyle Harris was born June 1, 1981 in Stillwater, Oklahoma to Donald and Florence (Wheeler) Harris. He grew up in Perkins, Oklahoma, where he graduated from high school. Andrew then went to OSU at Okmulgee and earned an associates degree in Automobile Mechanics.

Working for over 20 years at Janzen Toyota in Stillwater Andrew became a Master Mechanic. His most recent employment was as a roaming diagnostic technician for Triad Construction in Michigan.

Andrew was married to Paige Snyder and they were blessed with a daughter, Penelope. The family had made a home in Auburn, Nebraska.

Andrew was a grilling and smoking aficionado known for his great recipes and was a NASCAR fan. He enjoyed fixing things and could repair about anything put in front of him. Mostly, Andrew just loved being Dad to beautiful Penelope.

On the morning of Friday, April 2, 2021 Andrew passed away unexpectedly at his home in Auburn. He was preceded in death by his father Donald and twin brother Joseph.

Andrew is survived by his wife Paige and daughter Penelope of Auburn; mother Florence Harris of Perkins, Okla.; sisters and brother-in-law Christina Harris of Weimar, California; Molly and Nathan Canedy of Keller, Texas; other relatives and friends.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, April 17, 2021, 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., at Old Church Center, 750 N. Main Street, Perkins, OK 74059.
