Erosion Mitigation at Longs Creek

STREET COMMISSIONER Harry Bridgmon reported during the July 13 Auburn City Council meeting that work has been done to address an erosion issue along the south bank of Longs Creek near the Auburn Recreation Complex. Bridgmon said crews had deposited about 55 loads of rip rap and dirt on the bank which is in close proximity to the walking trail which encircles the ballfield/soccer field complex.
