Bobcat Golf Classic Changes Date From May 22nd to October 2nd

Due to Nebraska’s Direct Health Measures and to ensure the safety and health of all potential participants, Peru State athletic department officials announced Friday that their annual Bobcat Golf Classic will not be held on Friday, May 22.

Brenda Lutz, tournament director, and Wayne Albury, athletic director, discussed the possibilities of holding the tournament with Table Creek Golf Course owners. It was mutually agreed to move the tournament date.

Lutz and Albury, along with the College Foundation director of alumni relations, Deborah Solie, collaborated and decided the best potential date would be Friday, October 2. This is the day before the 2020 Homecoming which could allow for Bobcat alumni, families, and friends to not only participate in the golf tournament, but Homecoming festivities that weekend as well.
