Bennington Invitational Tough Opener for Bulldog Wrestlers

The Bulldog wrestlers opened the 2019-2020 season in the Dec. 7 Bennington Invitational competing against some very good teams in Classes A ,B and C. Columbus High is rated third in Class A , Bennington was fifth in B and David City Aquinas is rated third in Class C.
Coach Mark Oliver said, “We finished a respectable 6th place and had seven placers. Drew Keller was our only finalist and he finished 2nd. Bayler Poston finished third, while Ty Ommert, Harley Drier, Wyatt Rowell, Trent Ford and Trent Hall all placed fourth. We had some real ups and downs on Saturday, but we performed about the way we expected.”
