Auburn High Wrestlers Take Second at Tri County Dual Invite

The Auburn High School wrestlers took second place as a team in the Jan. 4-5 Tri County Dual Invitational. The Bulldogs went 8-1 in duals, with their only loss coming at the hands of Weeping Water. Coach Mark Oliver said, “The Bulldogs had a great weekend in Tri County. We picked up eight wins vs. one loss and we turned the tables on Tri County. Tri County thrashed us soundly before the holiday break and we returned the favor this time around. Drew Keller, Kyle Davenport and Austin Wheeldon provided the spark in the dual by upsetting their opponents. It was the shot in the arm that the team needed.
