Approximately 30 citizens attended a Feb. 24 special meeting of the Auburn City Council involving economic development. Rick Nelson, CEcD, Senior Economic Development Consultant with the Nebraska Public Power District was the evening’s speaker.
MONDAY, FEB. 24 the Auburn High School (AHS) Symphonic Band performs at the State Capitol as part of the Nebraska Music Educators Association (NMEA) Capitol Concert series. Matthew Stubbs, Auburn director of bands, notes the instrumentalists were among eight groups that were selected to be a part of a week of concerts. Groups play at noon and 12:30 p.m. each day of the weeklong event.
The Auburn Board of Public Works (BPW) Wednesday, Feb. 19, is allowing Olsson to design specifications on the Phase III 4160 conversion project.
The Johnson-Brock TeamMates Chapter has been selected by the TeamMates organization as Community of the Year. Johnson-Brock began a TeamMates mentoring program in 2013 with four mentor/mentee matches. The chapter currently serves over 92 matches.
