Southeast Nebraskans, State Officials Praise Work of Sen. Julie Slama at Event in Johnson

Sen. Julie Slama of Peru calls representing Southeast Nebraskans in the Nebraska Unicameral “the honor of my lifetime.”
More than 50 residents of District 1 gathered Sunday afternoon, Oct. 4 in a rally at the Johnson Legion Hall. Slama is seeking a full term in the Legislature. She represents residents of Nemaha, Johnson, Pawnee and Richardson counties as well as most of Otoe County. Slama faces Janet Palmtag of Syracuse in the upcoming general election. She saluted those who organized the function, adding many of them have been a huge help to her campaign.
