Southeast Nebraska’s Daniel Christian Opens Auburn Summer Sounds on June 19th

A monthly series of musical presentations gets underway Friday night, June 19 at Legion Memorial Park.

Daniel Christian plays at 7:30 p.m. Please bring your own chairs and blankets. You may pack a picnic or snacks. Please maintain social distancing guidelines. However, those living in a household may sit together.

Christian was born and raised in Tecumseh. For more than a decade, the vocalist-songwriter has been sharing his songs and stories with audiences nationwide. Those include at Bluebird Café in Nashville, Tenn.; Country Stampede in Kansas; the South By Southwest Festival in Austin, Texas and a coast-to-coast tour. Christian has opened shows for a diverse range of popular artists. Those include The Fixx, Selah and Montgomery Gentry.

Christian was a high school English teacher for five years before making music his full-time occupation in 2008. In 2007, he helped compose the school song for Johnson County Central High School when Tecumseh and Nemaha Valley consolidated.
