Signing Contract on Law Enforcement Building Addition Approved by Commissioners Nov. 29

The Nemaha County Commissioners have accepted the guaranteed maximum price of $1,477,300 on the addition to the Law Enforcement Building.
Wednesday, Nov. 29, Chair Marvin Bohling was authorized to sign the contract. The Design Build contract is with AHRS Construction, Inc./ Prochaska & Associates planning architecture engineering interiors and facility management. The proposal had been submitted to the county board Wednesday, Nov. 15. The Design Build process allows a guaranteed cost before any contracts are signed. The project may possibly come in under the above-mentioned cost.
