SE Nebraska Adult Drug Court Interlocal Agreement Accepted

The Nemaha County Commissioners authorized Chair Bryan Mellage to sign the five-county Southeast Nebraska Adult Drug Court Interlocal Agreement Wednesday morning, June 24.

The county will be paying $2,605.22 over the next year. That includes a $1,000 assessment fee to be paid by all five participating counties, notes Amanda VanAsperen, coordinator. The assessment is based on the number of participants per county. In the first year, it was based on a population percentage. In addition to Nemaha, the court serves residents of Johnson, Otoe, Pawnee and Richardson counties. The agreement has been approved by all regional county boards.
