May Temperatures Tied for Highest on Record While Precipitation Was Above Normal

After experiencing the second coldest April of record, May tied with 1962 as the warmest May on record. The maximum was 101 degrees on May 26th, one of three record maximums, while the minimum was 46 degrees on the 5th. There were nine days of 90 degree weather and normal is two.
