May 1st Auburn Birthday Festival Offers Full Day and Evening Slate

The 2021 Auburn Birthday Festival will be Saturday, May 1, at various locations around the community.

Leslie Clark with the Auburn Development Council and Auburn Arts and Events asked about the special day, “What could be better than a celebration with family, friends and major fun at the Auburn Birthday Festival?”

She added, “We have so many great events and activities happening all day long, but I want to take a moment and share from the heart the motivation behind it all. If I had to state what the Auburn Birthday Festival is about in the simplest terms it would be: Honor the Past. Celebrate the Present. Build the Future.”

“We wish to observe the birth of Auburn and honor our founding fathers, Church Howe and Charles Nixon for the visiion and determination of bringing Auburn into existence. Without these men, that would not have happened.”

“The people of Auburn are our greatest asset. Each is a part of the present day story, leaving their mark in our community, so the birthday festival is the perfect time to gather together, have some fun, and celebrate the birthday of the fabulous community we all call home.
