July Slightly Cooler, Wetter Than Normal

July averaged 0.2 degrees below normal and 0.5 degrees cooler than June. The maximum was 91 degrees on July 14th and 18th, the minimum was 58 degrees on the 12th. There were only eight days of 90 degree maximums, while normal is 13. June produced 21 afternoons of 90 degrees or higher readings

July precipitation totaled 7.70”— the wettest since 1993 and 3.61” above normal. There were 12 days of measurable precipitation, four more than normal. The maximum daily rainfall was 2.27” on July 15th. For the year there is a surplus of 2.46”.
