The second group of Phase 1A COVID-19 immunizations has gotten underway in Auburn.

Walgreens conducted the COVID-19 vaccine clinic at Good Samaritan Society-Auburn and Longs Creek Village Assisted Living on Saturday, Jan. 9, reports Maria Hudson. She is senior living manager and marketing and resource development director.

All 20 residents at Longs Creek Village were administered the vaccine, Hudson notes. She continues the assisted living facility is one of a small number of senior living locations in the Cornhusker State that have stayed COVID-free. There were 40 inoculations given at Good Samaritan Society-Auburn. Hudson did not have the information regarding how many doses were at the locations.
