District Champions - Auburn Lady Bulldogs Headed to Hastings for Class C State Softball Tournament

Four of the eight Class C state softball tournament teams, including the Auburn Bulldogs, are repeaters from 2018.

The seventh seed Bulldogs have gone 1-2 each of the past three years. Two schools are back at state after a one-year absence. There are a couple of newcomers in the field. Other qualifiers with their tournament history are as follows:

Arlington, 21-6, sixth seed: Fifth time, repeat qualifier, 11-5 record at state, Class C champion in 2012.

Cozad, 23-7, fourth seed: Another returning to state, 15th appearance, 23-25 state record. Champion of Class C in 2001 and 2002; runner-up in Class B in 1999 and Class C in 2016.
